CHELSEA MARIE CHEWNING the ballad of a dove... it had been not even a day since i moved in and i already had to be out riding. cottonmouth was the most intersting of my three equines, so i saddled up the buckskin stallion and headed off. i figured the only other stable in town was only a couple miles down the road, so i started off. the sun was high in the blue sky, making my blond hair glow and my brown eyes shine. cottonmouth's tan pelt rippled with pure quarter horse muscle, his neck parallel to his back. the sixteen hand hellion was a glorious sight in the daytime.
the driveway was long, but beautiful. i looked around, taking in every detail. cottonmouth snorted, tossing his head and side-stepping. a firm tone left my lips, telling him to settle down. pushing him into a lope with a firm squeeze of my thighs, he took off. his canter was smooth, rocking back and forth gracefully. normally, he was my jumper, but today i had him decked out in full western uniform. brown leather bridle, saddle, tie down, breast collar, and double girth. boy, was he a beauty.
i stopped just outside of the first stable, leaning forward in the saddle to look down the aisle. anyone home? i questioned, voice carrying softly. [/color][/blockquote]

Kirk was in his office in the stables, going over paperwork, vet bills, and other important things. He couldn't wait to hier someone to do these things for him, he couldn't stand paperwork. He rested his elbow on the desk and held forehead with one hand "Thats enough of this..." he said to himself with a sigh. He got up from his chair. The office was just a small room in between the feed room and the tack room. Right across from the door was his mare's stall. He grabbed a mint out of the jar on his desk and made his way across the isle to his mare. She stuck her head over the stall door and took the treat from his hand gently. Maybe it was time to go check on the cattle, he hadn't had a chance to check on them yet that day. Just as the thought came to mind he heard the sound of someone coming up the driveway on a horse. Then he heard the woman call from outside the stable.
He headed outside with a friendly smile "Hey there!" he said.

CHELSEA MARIE CHEWNING the ballad of a dove cottonmouth's ears perked forward at the sight of a mare. he snorted, blowing loudly from his nose. i scolded him once again, and he flicked his ears back at me before settling. when a man walked out of an office and gave the mare that cottonmouth had been snorting and flirting too a treat, i sat back up straight in the saddle. when he finally said something to me, i grinned. pretty mare you've got there. im chelsea, from over at triple x stables. i just moved in yesterday. i informed him, leaning down and offering my hand for a hand shake.
i wasn't shy, not in the least bit. i was an outgoing, hit the ground running sort of girl. never quiet unless needed. a breeze played with my wavy blond hair, casting it across my golden skin. i was petite, not very big at all. people say i looked like nothing but skin and bones. i was tough enough to handle horses though. i stood at only five foot three so most horses stood a foot taller, but knew from my stern tones and snappy voice that i was in charge.
